The central, sculptured part of the reredos created in the 1480s depicts the scene of the Annunciation, while the wings represent painted and sculptured scenes from the life of Christ and Mary. It is one of the greatest pieces of local craft production. Only several of such side reredoses decorating the Church of Saint Elizabeth have survived to see the present day, however, at the dawn of the modern era there were certainly many more of them, as in 1517 forty-six altars were recorded in the church.
